Commissioned Artwork
I work from photographs in order to get every twig, every spot of shadow in the proper place. I take repeated measurements, which I transfer from the photo to the canvas. Hence my art is very time consuming - - about two weeks for a drawing, up to six months for the largest of my paintings.
Is there a scene on your property you would like recorded in a drawing or painting? If so, send me photos of the site and, in consultation with you, I will establish what the finished work of art will depict. If you live in the area (north of Bangor, Maine) I would, with your permission, be glad to visit that special place and photograph it myself.
